What We Collect

This site has no accounts, no forms and no newsletter, and we do not ask for your name, email or payment details. Bookings happen on GetYourGuide, under GetYourGuide's own privacy policy.

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages records technical data for each request, such as your IP address, browser and the page asked for. It is used to deliver the site and keep it secure, and it is not combined with anything else.

Maps, Calendars and Links

Google Maps: Maps load only after you press “Show the map”. Google may then set its own cookies. Your choice is remembered in your browser's local storage so the next map opens straight away; clearing site data resets it.
GetYourGuide calendars: The availability calendars on our pages are served by GetYourGuide, which may set cookies to show live prices and dates.
GetYourGuide links: Links to a cruise carry our partner ID so that GetYourGuide can pay us a commission if you book. No personal data is passed to us.

Analytics and Your Choices

We use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and see which pages are useful. It is set up without advertising features: advertising storage, ad personalisation and ad user data are switched off for every visitor.

In the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, Google Analytics sets no cookies until you press Accept in the banner; Reject keeps it that way. Elsewhere it runs by default, and you can switch it off with the same choice. Your country is read once per visit from our host, Cloudflare, without a cookie.

_ga, _ga_9C7YZ501C3: Google Analytics cookies that tell one visit from another. Set only when analytics is allowed; they last up to two years.
hbc-consent: Your Accept or Reject choice, kept in your browser's local storage for 180 days.
hbc-maps: Remembers that you chose to load Google Maps.

“Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page clears your choice and shows the banner again, so you can change your mind at any time. The site works the same whichever you choose.
